Staying at the farm felt more like we were being hosted by our family friends as we got to know the familiar faces and names of the staff with their above & beyond level of service you'd expect from a five-star resort.

The communal nature of the Silo Cookhouse and the shared amenity spaces afforded us the opportunity to get to know other locals and visitors from around the country too. The delicious and nourishing food offerings from both our Silo Cookhouse dinners, to even the continental breakfast included in our stay exceeded our expectations.

Throughout the years, I’ve had a growing curiosity towards labyrinths.

I found myself drawn to them in my life and my travels, not sure why, but they seemed to pull me in. They’re interesting, peaceful, and intriguing, and I started to find a lot of inspiration and meaning in them for myself as I’ve moved along my own personal journey.

Little did I know that fate would bring me the opportunity to build one for myself and the guests at The Horse Shoe Farm.

Musings on Summer’s end - Chef Dan Williams

This was my first summer at The Farm, and it was a good one, all things considered. We started a new dining concept that better serves the surrounding community. We hosted a huge food competition and came in second place, losing only to one of the best chef’s in the country. Locals are taking notice. We see people more than once in a blue moon, and when they come in they tell us they can’t wait to bring their friends and family for a visit.
