An Origin Story - Nicole Massengale | The Stable Spa

I believe that when you really need someone the right person comes along.

The Horse Shoe Farm has this similar quality. It draws people in that not only need to be on this land but that the land also needs.

The Horse Shoe Farm came into my radar in early 2022. I didn't know where it was exactly. I never drove out here. I didn't look up the address. It had come up in a google search and then months later I was browsing in a shop in Flat Rock, and the ladies there gave me a flyer. Of course it was The Horse Shoe Farm, that's how these things work in my life.

I felt a curiosity to this place. An urge to come out and see the land, meet the people, visit the horses. But I didn't go. It wasn't time just yet. Throughout the year the farm came up in conversation, on social media, and I may have looked up the spa a few times. :)

It wasn't until 2023 that I was invited out to the Farm and introduced to the spa and the amazing staff and then one thing led to another and I am now here full time.

I don't believe in coincidence. Everything happens for our personal growth and evolution. And the growth that this land is showing me is ever evolving.

When you get quiet and you connect to the earth she'll tell you what you need to know. And oftentimes what you hear are things you didn’t realize existed, or maybe you told yourself you’d never do or haven't had the courage to pursue.  Maybe just maybe all it is, is taking the time to slow down enough to hear your own heart.

This is the magic of connecting to this land.

This is the magic of being here on The Horse Shoe Farm.
