Are you, as you are, enough?
So many of us portray someone other than who we are without even realizing it. We emulate and attach to someone's desires, beliefs, direction, identity, and values.
We may think it's ours because we're not aware of subtle shifts and pulls that someone else's energy can have on us until we're outside of it long enough to feel something different.
We become shaped and molded and this is acceptable because it matches who we are around so we feel like we belong.
And that's all we want really. Is to belong.
At least most of us.. Maybe the few of you reading feel differently and think, “No, I'm good on my own.”
But are you?
There’s an innate part inside most of us that just wants to feel something larger than our own existence. And we'll find pieces of that in a multitude of ways..
But this land?
This land just exists for the sake of existing.
It tells me I'm here, you can do what you will but I will always be here just as I am.
And that hits. It's wild and unruly yet so beautifully peaceful and reverent and it doesn't give a damn who's watching.
It will creep, and grow and twist around whatever it comes in contact with marking its territory and making sure that the life it's living is truly its own.
