Position Overview: As the Food & Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations for both The Silo Cookhouse and Root & Bone. This includes managing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service, overseeing the Front and Back of House, and maintaining budgetary controls. You will lead a talented team, cultivate a positive and efficient work environment, and collaborate closely with senior management to enhance both restaurant brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets (restaurants, bars, catering services, etc.).
Ensure that the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff, including managers, chefs, and service personnel, to maintain high levels of performance.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Prepare and manage the food and beverage budget, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.
Monitor and control inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Monitor and manage food and labor costs in alignment with the restaurantsβ goals.
Analyze financial reports and adjust operations to meet budget goals.
Implement strategies to maximize revenue, such as pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and cost-effective promotions.
Menu Development:
Collaborate with executive chefs and culinary teams to design creative and innovative menus.
Regularly review and update menus to keep offerings fresh, appealing, and aligned with guest preferences.
Ensure menu items meet dietary restrictions, seasonal availability, and cost constraints.
Guest Experience:
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, handling guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure consistency in food and service quality across all outlets.
Create and implement programs or events that enhance the guest experience (e.g., wine pairings, special events, seasonal promotions).
Team Leadership and Development:
Hire, train, and motivate staff across all food and beverage departments.
Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality excellence.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
Promote staff engagement and retention through effective leadership and communication.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all food and beverage operations comply with local health, safety, and liquor laws.
Maintain clean and safe working environments for both staff and guests.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote food and beverage offerings, increase sales, and attract new clientele.
Collaborate with the marketing team on social media campaigns, event promotions, and partnerships.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, adjusting strategies as necessary to stay competitive.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular reports on food and beverage performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Analyze guest feedback and operational data to continuously improve service delivery and product offerings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in food and beverage management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food costing, inventory management, and beverage programming.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Housekeeping Manager
The Housekeeping Manager at The Horse Shoe Farm is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations within the resort, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction are maintained. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring that all areas of the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, are meticulously maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring all team members are trained and working to the highest standards.
Provide clear direction and feedback, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards.
Oversee the implementation of cleaning protocols and health and safety procedures.
Respond to guest feedback promptly, resolving any housekeeping-related concerns to ensure total satisfaction.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
Maintain accurate records of all housekeeping inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning materials, linens, and guest amenities.
Guest Experience:
Ensure that guest rooms are prepared to the highest standards for arrival and that special requests are handled promptly.
Promote a culture of excellence in customer service and anticipate guest needs to ensure a memorable stay.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments, including Front Desk, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage, to coordinate housekeeping operations and ensure smooth guest experiences.
Provide reports and updates on housekeeping performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a luxury or high-end resort environment.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and procedures.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

This spectacular property is looking for the right person to join the team to perform an array of tasks to guarantee excellent guest service. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven, detail-oriented, passionate person who can multitask.
As a Maintenance Technician at The Horse Shoe Farm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort by maintaining the facilityβs infrastructure, equipment, and guest amenities. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of systems, from HVAC and plumbing to electrical systems and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the resortβs systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

We are seeking a Massage & Bodywork Therapist for Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Someone who is experienced and reliable to meet our needs of our guests and locals. And someone who can handle a busy day with 5 to 6 hours of massages.
We have a special team at the Stable Spa who are dedicated to helping the Spa grow to its fullest potential and take pride in the space and the work we do here. We are looking for therapists who want to grow with us and share this similar intention.
