When the Mullis family acquired the farm in the late 1990s and turned it into a hobby farm. The quarter horses and Belted Galloway cattle in the fields became secondary attractions compared to dozens of vintage Chevys and classic Corvettes, along with an array of antique motorcycles showcased in the barns. The Mullis family transitioned The Horse Shoe Farm from a working farm into collector’s playground, hosting car shows and other festive events throughout the year, as well as adding many lodging accommodations to entertain their guests and gatherings for an extended stay in Hendersonville NC.
