We needed a large place to accommodate a big family reunion and Horseshoe Farm was the place! We rented most of the houses that they had and took full advantage of all of the facilities! Everything was wonderful!!! The game room was perfect for the younger crowd, the houses were clean and perfectly supplies. Breakfast was so yummy, especially the overnight oats, that we never wanted to miss it! The staff there were very friendly and accommodating and the grounds were perfectly kept. We especially loved the fire they set up every evening!

Thank you so much Horseshoe for helping to make our reunion so perfect! We love it there and hope to come back in the future!!!!

My boyfriend and I came to The Horse Shoe Farm celebrate our anniversary. The experience exceeded our every expectation. We stayed in The Field Cottage (not a cottage). It was pure luxury. The detailed welcome emails we received upon booking, made finding and entering the secluded accommodation a breeze. It was spotless clean, beautifully lit, and outfitted with every last item we could want or need. Our entire stay was as comfortable as if we were in our own homeโ€”better, since our city apartment doesnโ€™t have an in-unity washer and dryer. There were even supplies for making sโ€™mores in the fire pit on the patio! Our morning walks to The Silo for the breakfast included with our stay were romantic and peaceful. I canโ€™t say enough about the amenities. I highly suggest you take the tour of the property as there is so much to see. They have an elegant, fully stocked game room with everything from paints to pool, a yoga studio, a gorgeous pool and club house. So many places from which to take in the epic sunsets over the Blue Ridge Mountains. None of the pictures we took will ever do this place justice.

To say we enjoyed our trip would be a great understatement. We are already looking for an excuse to return!

My wife and I had our wedding at the Horseshoe Farm in early November where we had our family and bridal party on property with us. We had nothing but great things to say about the property. Soft beds and beddings, beautiful furniture, amazing views (and sunsets!), great trails to hike on, fun game room. It did get cold that weekend, but we had the fire going at the Silo Cookhouse every night! We worked a lot with Amy (the venue manager) who helped us with every detail of the wedding to make sure it ran smoothly. She, and the rest of the staff were accommodating with all our wedding requests and were able to make almost everything we want happen.

After our previous rehearsal cater when out of business, the farm was open and able cater our rehearsal dinner (50 people) and the food was absolutely delicious! The Silo team was very easy to work with and a beautiful location! We and some of our guests enjoyed the spa as well.

While it was our first massage, our family had had many massages and said this one was the best they ever had.

We had our wedding at Horse Shoe Farm and it could not have been better. The wedding coordinator was so detail-oriented and on top of everything and the other staff we met were equally friendly and helpful. The ceremony location was beautiful and private, the dining area was decorated so elegantly, the food was delicious, and the entire day was incredibly easy and pleasant. We felt so welcomed and comfortable in the cottage and did not want to leave.

The vendors that Horse Shoe Farm contracts with - officiant, photographer, florist - were equally as impressive, professional, and friendly. It was the most beautiful experience and I'd give them 6 stars if I could. A number of wedding venues we looked at wanted to nickel and dime us for every little thing, or hold us to really specific timeframes for each little thing.

Horse Shoe Farm was so much more chill than this and so accommodating. Cannot recommend enough.

Our stay at The Horse Shoe Farm was exceptional. The farm is lovely and serene, and October was the perfect time to visit amidst peak foliage and great weather for the many amazing hikes in the area. There are lots of activities on the farm including several yard games, farm animals, the spa, nightly campfires, and more. We also used the fire pit by our cottage to make s'mores and enjoy some drinks in the tranquil surroundings. We got massages at The Stable Spa and it was perhaps the best massage either of us has ever had at top-notch spas in major cities. Given the pandemic, staff also went above and beyond with every accommodation to make us feel safe and comfortable.

The Stable Spa is semi-open air and the epitome of relaxation as you overlook the Blue Ridge Mountains before and after your treatment. Jordan and the team at The Horse Shoe Farm was accessible and helped make our stay so special and rejuvenating. It's the perfect place to escape busy city life and we cannot wait to return and introduce it to our friends and family.
